Senior Solicitor and Head of Commercial and Residential Property
Alex graduated with a Law Degree at The University of Leeds before completing the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in York, but was keen to focus his career in Teesside having been born in Stockton on Tees.
Alex qualified as a solicitor in 2007 before joining Watson Woodhouse Solicitors where he developed his practice in residential and commercial property matters, private client work, and litigation, becoming a Director and head of the Conveyancing Department.
Alex advises on all aspects of residential and commercial property matters, ranging from transactional work to adverse possession claims and contested issues such as boundary disputes.
In addition, Alex has a wealth of experience dealing with private client work namely preparation of wills, estate planning, Lasting Power of Attorney, and administering deceased estates.
Alex also assists client in respect of navigating contentious estates, assisting executors and beneficiaries alike.
